Godís Promises for Finance (Finance - God's Point of View)

 

Genesis 14:18-20. and Melchizedek, the king of Salem (Jerusalem), who was a priest of the God of Highest Heaven, brought him bread and wine. Then Melchizedek blessed Abram with this blessing: "The blessing of the supreme God, Creator of heaven and earth, be upon you, Abram; and blessed be God, who has delivered your enemies over to you.'' Then Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of all the loot.

Genesis 26:12. That year Isaac's crops were tremendous - 100 times the grain he sowed. For Jehovah blessed him.

Deuteronomy 6:3. Therefore, O Israel, listen closely to each command and be careful to obey it, so that all will go well with you, and so that you will have many children. If you obey these commands, you will become a great nation in a glorious land "flowing with milk and honey,' even as the God of your fathers promised you.

Deuteronomy 8:18. Always remember that it is the Lord your God who gives you power to become rich, and he does it to fulfill his promise to your ancestors.

Deuteronomy 14:28. "Every third year you are to use your entire tithe for local welfare programs:

Deuteronomy 16:17. Give as you are able, according as the Lord has blessed you.

Deuteronomy 24:19. if when reaping your harvest, you forget to bring in a sheaf from the field, don't go back after it. Leave it for the migrants, orphans, and widows; then the Lord your God will bless and prosper all you do.

Deuteronomy 28:1-6. "If you fully obey all of these commandments of the Lord your God, the laws I am declaring to you today, God will transform you into the greatest nation in the world. These are the blessings that will come upon you: Blessings in the city, Blessings in the field; Many children, Ample crops, Large flocks and herds; Blessings of fruit and bread; Blessings when you come in, Blessings when you go out.

Deuteronomy 29:9. Therefore, obey the terms of this covenant so that you will prosper in everything you do.

Joshua 1:8  Constantly remind the people about these laws, and you yourself must think about them every day and every night so that you will be sure to obey all of them. For only then will you succeed.

2 Chronicles 20:20. Early the next morning the army of Judah went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. On the way Jehoshaphat stopped and called them to attention. "Listen to me, O people of Judah and Jerusalem,'' he said. "Believe in the Lord your God and you shall have success! Believe his prophets and everything will be all right!''

Job 36:11 "If they listen and obey him, then they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives.

Job 42:12. So the Lord blessed Job at the end of his life more than at the beginning. For now he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 teams of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.

Psalm 23:1. Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need!

Psalm 23:5-6. You provide delicious food for me in the presence of my enemies. You have welcomed me as your guest; blessings overflow! Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me all of my life, and afterwards I will live with you forever in your home.

Psalm 34:10. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those of us who reverence the Lord will never lack any good thing.

Psalm 35:27. But give great joy to all who wish me well. Let them shout with delight, "Great is the Lord who enjoys helping his child!''

Psalm 37:25. I have been young and now I am old. And in all my years I have never seen the Lord forsake a man who loves him; nor have I seen the children of the godly go hungry.

Psalm 66:12. You sent troops to ride across our broken bodies. We went through fire and flood. But in the end, you brought us into wealth and great abundance.

Psalm 68:19. What a glorious Lord! He who daily bears our burdens also gives us our salvation.

Psalm 84:11. For Jehovah God is our Light and our Protector. He gives us grace and glory. No good thing will he withhold from those who walk along his paths.

Psalm 112:1-3. Praise the Lord! For all who fear God and trust in him are blessed beyond expression. Yes, happy is the man who delights in doing his commands. His children shall be honored everywhere, for good men's sons have a special heritage. He himself shall be wealthy, and his good deeds will never be forgotten.

Psalm 112:5. and all goes well for the generous man who conducts his business fairly.

Psalm 112:9. He gives generously to those in need. His deeds will never be forgotten. He shall have influence and honor.

Psalm 126:6. Yes, they go out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, and return singing, carrying their sheaves.

Psalm 132:15. I will make this city prosperous and satisfy her poor with food.

Proverbs 3:9-10. Honor the Lord by giving him the first part of all your income, and he will fill your barns with wheat and barley and overflow your wine vats with the finest wines

Proverbs 6:6-8. Take a lesson from the ants, you lazy fellow. Learn from their ways and be wise! For though they have no king to make them work, yet they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter.

Proverbs 10:2. Ill-gotten gain brings no lasting happiness; right living does.

Proverbs 11:16. Honor goes to kind and gracious women, mere money to cruel men.

Proverbs 11: 24-25. It is possible to give away and become richer! It is also possible to hold on too tightly and lose everything. Yes, the liberal man shall be rich! By watering others, he waters himself.

Proverbs 12:11. Hard work means prosperity; only a fool idles away his time.

Proverbs 12:24. Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and never succeed.

Proverbs 13:4. Lazy people want much but get little, while the diligent are prospering.

Proverbs 13:11. Wealth from gambling quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows.

Proverbs 13:22. When a good man dies, he leaves an inheritance to his grandchildren; but when a sinner dies, his wealth is stored up for the godly.

Proverbs 14:23. Work brings profit; talk brings poverty!

Proverbs 15:6. There is treasure in being good, but trouble dogs the wicked.

Proverbs 17:8. A bribe works like magic. Whoever uses it will prosper!

Proverbs 19:14. A father can give his sons homes and riches, but only the Lord can give them understanding wives.

Proverbs 19:17. When you help the poor you are lending to the Lord - and he pays wonderful interest on your loan!

Proverbs 20:13. If you love sleep, you will end in poverty. Stay awake, work hard, and there will be plenty to eat!

Proverbs 21:5. Steady plodding brings prosperity; hasty speculation brings poverty.

Proverbs 22:4. True humility and respect for the Lord lead a man to riches, honor, and long life.

Proverbs 22:29. Do you know a hard-working man? He shall be successful and stand before kings!

Proverbs 28:19-20. Hard work brings prosperity; playing around brings poverty. The man who wants to do right will get a rich reward. But the man who wants to get rich quick will quickly fail.

Proverbs 28:27. If you give to the poor, your needs will be supplied! But a curse upon those who close their eyes to poverty.

Ecclesiastes 5:18. Well, one thing, at least, is good: It is for a man to eat well, drink a good glass of wine, accept his position in life, and enjoy his work whatever his job may be, for however long the Lord may let him live.

Ecclesiastes 5:19,20 And, of course, it is very good if a man has received wealth from the Lord and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and to accept your lot in life - that is indeed a gift from God. The person who does that will not need to look back with sorrow on his past, for God gives him joy.

Isaiah 1:19. If you will only let me help you, if you will only obey, then I will make you rich!

Isaiah 48:15. But I am saying it. I have called Cyrus; I have sent him on this errand, and I will prosper him.

Isaiah 48:17. The Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, says, "I am the Lord your God, who punishes you for your own good and leads you along the paths that you should follow.

Malachi 3:10. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so that there will be food enough in my Temple; if you do, I will open up the windows of heaven for you and pour out a blessing so great you won't have room enough to take it in! "Try it! Let me prove it to you!

Matthew 5:42. Give to those who ask, and don't turn away from those who want to borrow.

Matthew 6:25-33 "So my counsel is: Don't worry about things - food, drink, and clothes. For you already have life and a body - and they are far more important than what to eat and wear. Look at the birds! They don't worry about what to eat - they don't need to sow or reap or store up food - for your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than they are. Will all your worries add a single moment to your life? "And why worry about your clothes? Look at the field lilies! They don't worry about theirs. Yet King Solomon in all his glory was not clothed as beautifully as they. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won't he more surely care for you, O men of little faith? "So don't worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them,  and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.

Mark 4:8. But some of the seeds fell into good soil and yielded thirty times as much as he had planted - some of it even sixty or a hundred times as much!

Mark 10:29,30. And Jesus replied, "Let me assure you that no one has ever given up anything - home, brothers, sisters, mother, father, children, or property - for love of me and to tell others the Good News, who won't be given back, a hundred times over, homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land - with persecutions! "All these will be his here on earth, and in the world to come he shall have eternal life.

Luke 6:38. For if you give, you will get! Your gift will return to you in full and overflowing measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use to give - large or small - will be used to measure what is given back to you.''

Luke 10:7. "When you enter a village, don't shift around from home to home, but stay in one place, eating and drinking without question whatever is set before you. And don't hesitate to accept hospitality, for the workman is worthy of his wages!

Luke 12:31. He will always give you all you need from day to day if you will make the Kingdom of God your primary concern

Luke 12:34. Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be.

Romans 8:32. Since he did not spare even his own Son for us but gave him up for us all, won't he also surely give us everything else?

Romans 12:11. Never be lazy in your work, but serve the Lord enthusiastically.

Romans 13:8. Pay all your debts except the debt of love for others - never finish paying that! For if you love them, you will be obeying all of God's laws, fulfilling all his requirements.

1 Corinthians 16:2. On every Lord's Day each of you should put aside something from what you have earned during the week, and use it for this offering. The amount depends on how much the Lord has helped you earn. Don't wait until I get there and then try to collect it all at once.

2 Corinthians 8:9. You know how full of love and kindness our Lord Jesus was: though he was so very rich, yet to help you he became so very poor, so that by being poor he could make you rich.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7. But remember this - if you give little, you will get little. A farmer who plants just a few seeds will get only a small crop, but if he plants much, he will reap much.  Everyone must make up his own mind as to how much he should give. Don't force anyone to give more than he really wants to, for cheerful givers are the ones God prizes.

Galatians 6:6-9. Those who are taught the Word of God should help their teachers by paying them. Don't be misled; remember that you can't ignore God and get away with it: a man will always reap just the kind of crop he sows! If he sows to please his own wrong desires, he will be planting seeds of evil and he will surely reap a harvest of spiritual decay and death; but if he plants the good things of the Spirit, he will reap the everlasting life that the Holy Spirit gives him. And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't get discouraged and give up.

Ephesians 3:20. Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of - infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.

Philippians 4:15-17. As you well know, when I first brought the Gospel to you and then went on my way, leaving Macedonia, only you Philippians became my partners in giving and receiving. No other church did this. Even when I was over in Thessalonica you sent help twice. But though I appreciate your gifts, what makes me happiest is the well-earned reward you will have because of your kindness.

Philippians 4:19.  And it is he who will supply all your needs from his riches in glory because of what Christ Jesus has done for us

2 Thessalonians 3:10. Even while we were still there with you, we gave you this rule: "He who does not work shall not eat.''

1 Timothy 5:8. But anyone who won't care for his own relatives when they need help, especially those living in his own family, has no right to say he is a Christian. Such a person is worse than the heathen.

1 Timothy 6:17. Tell those who are rich not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which will soon be gone, but their pride and trust should be in the living God who always richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment

2 Peter 1:3. For as you know him better, he will give you, through his great power, everything you need for living a truly good life: he even shares his own glory and his own goodness with us!

3 John 2. Dear friend, I am praying that all is well with you and that your body is as healthy as I know your soul is.
